Our Mission
The mission of the Heart of Gold Foundation is to financially assist dental clinics or organizations that serve the indigent and working poor. Also, the Foundation funds dental public service projects and educational programs that focus on dental disease prevention and advancing the oral health of the underserved.
In addition, we strive to raise awareness in the dental community as to the unmet dental needs of vulnerable populations and the financial burden and volunteer shortage of the clinics that attend to them.

Our Program
Our program is unique in two ways. First, through direct mail campaigns and word-of-mouth, dentists [and the public] are encouraged to send their scrap metal to the Foundation. The proceeds from refining, or a portion of the proceeds, are donated directly to the Heart of Gold Foundation. How easy is that? You can make a donation without writing a check!
Secondly, donors can earmark their dollars for a clinic or program of their choosing, making their contribution a personal one. Also, local dental societies use the Heart of Gold Foundation as a platform to raise funds for outreach programs or campaigns in their area.
At a time when our profession is fortunate to provide and benefit from esthetic dentistry, it only seems right to give back to those who, no matter how little they have, want to smile too!
